Zandt opens hard-rock label Lost Cathedral

NEW
YORK (Billboard) - Actor and guitarist "Little" Steven
Van Zandt's rock 'n' roll empire is expanding yet again with a
new record label, Lost Cathedral. The first project from the imprint,
which will focus on hard rock, is Crown of Thorns' "Faith,"
due May 14.
"Starting with Crown of Thorns made sense too, because the
band's frontman, Jean Beauvoir, is also the CEO of Renegade Nation."

Doro
Pesch celebrated her 25-year career as the reigning queen of German
heavy metal by performing a three-hour set (Saturday, December 13)
at the 20,000 capacity ISS Dome in Düsseldorf, Germany.
HOLY MOSES, LEAVES EYES' and ARCH ENEMY opened the show and were
followed by full set by DORO herself, which included guest appearances
by Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth (OVERKILL), Jean Beauvoir,
GRAVE DIGGER's Chris Boltendahl and guitarist Axel Rudi Pell, former
NIGHTWISH singer Tarja Turunen, SCORPIONS' Klaus Meine and Rudolf
Schenker, as well as a host of other female vocalists, such as Liv
Kristine (LEAVES' EYES), Floor Jansen (AFTER FOREVER), members of
GIRLSCHOOL, Liv of SISTER SIN and Sabina Classen of HOLY MOSES. |

continues the quest of keeping Rock and Roll alive and kicking with
the multi-faceted media company Renegade Nation. A company founded
by Little Steven Van Zandt of HBO's "The Sopranos" and

of Rock in London's Hyde Park on June 24th to 60,000
fans alongside Aerosmith, Chris Cornell and Jet.
He's also currently working on a new Crown of Thorns
album and writing with Nona Hendryx for an upcoming
Labelle album. |
